The investigation began after a report was received at the Civil Guard Post in Montoro, detailing a forced entry robbery at a second residence. The perpetrator, then unknown, had gained access by forcing the main door and had stolen several household appliances.
After verifying the facts, officers initiated efforts to clarify the incident and identify and apprehend the alleged culprit. Initial inquiries suggested a local resident might be involved, potentially using an online second-hand marketplace to sell the stolen items.
Further investigation led to the full identification of the suspect, a 58-year-old man residing in Montoro. The Civil Guard subsequently arrested him as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with forced entry. The detainee and the prepared proceedings have been handed over to the Judicial Authority.
