The investigation began after a report was filed at the Civil Guard Post in Montoro, detailing a burglary at a second residence located near the town. Unknown individuals had forced entry into the property and stolen several household appliances.
Immediately after confirming the reported incident, Civil Guard agents initiated efforts to fully clarify the facts, identify, locate, and apprehend the alleged perpetrator.
The progress of the investigation yielded sufficient evidence suggesting that the robbery might have been committed by a local resident. It was suspected that this individual might have used an online second-hand marketplace to sell the stolen appliances.
Ultimately, the investigation led to the full identification of the alleged perpetrator, a 58-year-old resident of Montoro, who was subsequently arrested by the Civil Guard for the alleged crime of burglary. The detainee and the processed proceedings have been handed over to the judge.
