The protest, organized by the Adamuz Derailment Victims Association, was marked by the placement of 47 chairs, each bearing the name of one of the 46 fatalities from the incident on January 18 in the province of Córdoba, and that of the train driver who died the following day in another Rodalies accident in Gelida.
Approximately one hundred people participated in the event, where calls for the resignation of Minister Óscar Puente were heard, as protesters held him accountable for his management and the responsibilities stemming from the event.
The chairs bear the names of the 46 deceased in the accident in the province of Córdoba and that of the train driver who died the following day in another Rodalies accident in Gelida.
