With extensive skiable terrain and excellent weather conditions, the Granada resort experienced two days of high attendance, allowing it to face the final stretch of the season with optimism.
Saturday, April 18, was the busiest day, with 7,010 skiers enjoying 69 kilometers of skiable area and 84 available slopes. Temperatures ranged between -9ºC and 7ºC, accompanied by clear skies and moderate winds.
Sunday offered similar conditions, with the same skiable area and number of slopes, attracting 6,094 users. Minimum temperatures saw a notable increase, and skies remained clear with gentler wind gusts.
These strong figures, combined with favorable weather forecasts, predict a positive season closing for Sierra Nevada, which expects stable conditions until Friday, despite the possibility of isolated showers. The resort plans to close the winter season on May 1, with a closing event scheduled for April 25.
