This cultural event aims to pay tribute to Leonor Almendros, a key figure in the regional memory, and to boost cultural tourism in the province of Granada. The initiative highlights the role of rural women in shaping the identity of Andalusia.
During the event, the anthology Fuerza de Mujer will be presented, featuring twelve essential poems by the author. The project has been supported by organizations such as the Escritores por La Alpujarra association, the International Writers for the Earth Network, and the Mare Terra Foundation.
The gala will take place at the Capileira Multi-Purpose Hall starting at 12:00 PM. The program includes institutional speeches, a lecture on the author's legacy, a Spanish guitar interlude, and the official announcement of the jury's decision.
