Following a weekend of high attendance, the 46th edition of the Almería Book Fair continues its program with various activities. Saturday morning included presentations of works such as Donde habitan las sirenas and Vivir a jornada completa, in addition to a talk titled Hablando en plata and a storytelling session for the youngest attendees.
Events are distributed across different locations in the city, such as the Reading Space at the Mirador de la Rambla, the Francisco Villaespesa Public Library, and the José María Artero Central Library. The stalls, located on Avenida Federico García Lorca, maintain hours from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 during the weekend.
Saturday's activities began with a storytelling session by an oral narrator, who connected with the children's audience through humor and fantasy. Simultaneously, the novel Donde habitan las sirenas was presented, a story about love and new beginnings, with the Mediterranean Sea as an essential backdrop.
At the José María Artero Central Library, a language expert offered an interactive talk to foster curiosity about the Spanish language, sharing anecdotes and surprising facts. The morning concluded with the presentation of Vivir a jornada completa, a book that addresses stress management at work and the search for balance between professional and personal life.
The program for Saturday, April 18 afternoon, includes a storytelling session with an author, the presentation of Nuestro cuerpo at the Francisco Villaespesa Public Library, and the work Vengo de ver at the Reading Space. For Sunday, April 19, presentations of Amarilla, Un idioma siempre al borde la extinción, Esfumarse, and Lira Rota, Antología Póstuma de poemas de Martín García Ramos are scheduled.
In addition to the presentations, the fair offers numerous book signing sessions by various authors at the bookstore stalls, both on Saturday afternoon and throughout Sunday, providing readers with the opportunity to interact with their favorite writers.
