The incident occurred around 12:30 PM, when the woman entered the establishment believing no one was present. She went to the counter and took the container holding the tips, which contained over 300 euros, and put it in a bag to leave the business.
However, a restaurant employee, who was eating at a table, noticed the theft and called out to the perpetrator. Other staff members came over, and after confirming what had happened, they decided to contact the Local Police.
A patrol car arrived at the establishment a few minutes later and detained the woman, who witnesses reported as being of Romanian origin. The officers proceeded to identify her and verify the exact amount of money stolen to determine the severity of the offense.
