The Almería club has expressed its complete rejection of the disturbances that occurred before and after last Sunday's match against Málaga CF. The entity considers these incidents to be isolated and exceptional actions that should not affect the cordial relations historically maintained by both Andalusian clubs.
In its statement, UD Almería emphasizes its commitment to sportsmanship and fair play, elements that must prevail in football. It has also expressed its respect for the work of the State Security Forces and Corps, with whom it maintains constant collaboration.
“"Our entity has affectionate and respectful ties with all Spanish football clubs, generally, and with Andalusian ones, in particular."
The initiative to request information from the National Police stems from the need to respond to the club's fan base, which has demanded explanations about the incidents and the possibility of having prevented them. UD Almería has made itself available to the authorities to collaborate in improving security protocols for future matches, especially within the framework of the “Let's do it again” campaign, aimed at fostering a positive environment for promotion to Primera División.
