The Peña Flamenca El Morato hosts tonight the performance of the flamenco ensemble led by Tamara López Arias. The artist, born in La Cañada de San Urbano, Almería, began her dance training at the tender age of three, building a career that has taken her to important stages.
The cast accompanying Tamara López in dance includes Edu García and Antonio El Genial on vocals, Álvaro Ruiz on guitar, and Moi Santiago on percussion, promising a high-quality flamenco evening.
At 13 years old, Tamara López Arias began her professional studies at the Kina Jiménez Professional Dance Conservatory of Almería, where she was recognized as a soloist in the annual competition at 15 years old. Subsequently, she moved to Málaga to specialize in Choreography and Interpretation, developing her first show, A Voces, and working in tablaos such as Los Amaya and Tablao Flamenco Marbella.
Her training has been enriched by great flamenco figures such as Carmen Moreno, Rocío Garrido, Moisés Navarro, Fátima Navarro, Daniel Doña, Eduardo Leal, La Lupi, Belén López, Claudia Cruz, Fuensanta “La Moneta”, Miguel Ángel Heredia, and Juan de Juan. Additionally, she has collaborated with choreographer Mariana Collado on the Camina project, participating in the choreography Sed, la magia del agua. Currently, Tamara López also works as a pedagogue at the Escuela de Duende and at the Cuevas del Almanzora City Council.
This performance is part of the program of the Peña Flamenca El Morato, which recently celebrated its 45th anniversary with a tribute to flamenco dance, highlighting the participation of artists such as Inés de Inés, Niño de las Cuevas, and José Bellido, who achieved a full house and reaffirmed the peña's commitment to the dissemination of flamenco art.
