After a few days of clear skies, a new mass of suspended dust originating from Africa will cross the Strait of Gibraltar, covering the skies of Almería and the rest of Andalucía. The Saharan dust is expected to be most intense around noon this Monday, April 27, and could last until Wednesday.
However, the Saharan dust will not be the only significant weather phenomenon. Widespread instability could bring sporadic rainfall, especially on Tuesday, April 28, with a 50% chance of isolated showers in the province of Almería, although of low intensity.
Regarding temperatures, a decrease is expected throughout the week. After a rise on Sunday and sustained high values this Monday due to the Saharan dust, maximum temperatures in the Almería capital will drop to around 22 degrees Celsius.
