Exactly 365 days ago, the Almería-based club finalized the transfer of its shares to an investment group led by SMC Group. This move marked a change in the club's presidency, aimed at boosting the institution's commercial and sporting growth on the national stage.
Since their arrival, the new management has emphasized the importance of consolidating a long-term project. Key priorities set by the board include returning to the top flight of Spanish football, as well as developing a new Sports City and upgrading the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos.
