Musician JJ Fuentes has released ‘Quiero Llamarte Hogar’, the first single from his upcoming album, a composition blending romance and poetry to signal the start of a new phase.

Following the release of ‘El Heredero’, JJ Fuentes welcomes a new artistic chapter with ‘Quiero Llamarte Hogar’. This track, unexpectedly written on the night of February 27th, has become the key piece introducing the universe of his forthcoming record.
The song is described as romantic, energetic, and deeply poetic, offering a bright and positive outlook. It serves as a conscious farewell to what could not be and marks the departure from Miss Almería, a recurring character in the artist's work.

"This song has a lot to do with music and the idea of family and home. How, despite having those musical dreams of recording with your idols, playing all over the country and your career growing concert by concert, you would trade all that for a simple coffee and everyday life."

JJ Fuentes · Musician
Far from melancholy, ‘Quiero Llamarte Hogar’ celebrates necessary goodbyes and opens a new creative path for the Almería-based artist. A future version of the track with an international collaboration is anticipated.
Musical production was handled by Víctor Sánchez on guitars and backing vocals, Alejandro Martínez on bass, Popi González on drums and backing vocals, and Jose Chico on keyboards. Recording, mixing, and mastering were carried out at El Cobertizo studio in Granada by Carlos Díaz.
The release is accompanied by a music video directed by Daniel Acosta, starring JJ Fuentes and model Alba Maldonado. The filming took place at the House of the Poet José Ángel Valente, with collaboration from the Almería City Council, the Tourism Department, and La Oficina Producciones Culturales.

"Valente is a great reference for me and it has been an honor to film the music video at his home. I am very grateful to everyone who made it possible."

JJ Fuentes · Musician
With this single, JJ Fuentes inaugurates a new chapter, looking towards the future and solidifying his position as a personal and literary voice in contemporary singer-songwriter music. The artist expressed the need for this change after years dedicated to older songs.
The musician begins this new phase with optimism and confidence, despite injuries sustained after a traffic accident that required a period of inactivity. He dedicated this time to preparing the new album, of which he is very proud.
