The sport of pickleball is consolidating itself as one of the sporting events of the Almería Fair, reaching its fourth edition this coming Sunday, August 23rd. The competition will kick off at 8:45 AM in the sports facilities located next to the Maestro Padilla Auditorium.
The organization, managed by CD Pickleball Almería, expects to surpass last year's participation, which already included international players. Those interested in joining the tournament can register through a link provided by the organization.
Prior to the tournament, an open day will be held on Friday from 7:00 PM until dusk at the same venue. This initiative will allow attendees to familiarize themselves with the sport or prepare for the competition.
Pickleball, like pizza, unites everyone regardless of gender or age.
In addition to the competition, there will be raffles for sports equipment thanks to the collaboration of sponsors and the federation. Pizza will also be offered to attendees. The medals for the winners have been designed and printed by the organizers themselves.
This event has the institutional support of the Almería City Council, the Municipal Sports Board, the Tennis Federation, as well as private sponsors such as @Somosepyk, Universo_Pickleball, and Domino's Pizza.
