The investigation began after the victim filed a report regarding the gradual disappearance of valuables from her bedroom. The victim noted that during the time the items went missing, the suspect had been entering her home to provide care services through a social assistance company.
The stolen items included bracelets, chains, pendants, and rings, which held significant sentimental value for the owner. Suspicions grew when the employee allegedly found one of the missing pieces in a location that had already been checked by the victim and her family.
Officers from the Group VII of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade tracked jewelry sales made by the suspect and her partner around the time of the thefts. Upon being summoned to the police station, the woman admitted to selling several pieces to fund home renovations, voluntarily handing over a gold bracelet she still possessed.
