The city of Almería is preparing to host the fifth edition of AMAC 2026, an event that fuses fashion, art, and culture, and which for the first time will take place in the emblematic Plaza de Toros on May 23.
The official presentation of AMAC 2026 was held in the Salón Noble of the Almería City Council, consolidating this event as a benchmark in the city's cultural calendar. The event aims to showcase Almería as an emerging center for fashion, art, and culture, attracting external attention and generating wealth and opportunities.
“
"There is no better way to build the future of our city than by filling it with creativity, future, and pride, because watch out Almería, we are coming on strong."
The previous edition of AMAC gathered nearly a thousand people. This year, the organization expects to triple the number of attendees thanks to the new location in the Plaza de Toros, which will also increase its impact.
“
"Almería is once again on the map of creativity, talent, and contemporary culture thanks to a new edition of AMAC, a project that has grown, evolved, and consolidated itself as one of the great cultural references in our province."
The central theme of AMAC 2026 is inspired by a dialogue between flamenco and Latin American culture, two universes that, despite the distance, share a common essence, emotion, and passion. The proposal seeks to integrate various disciplines such as fashion, music, dance, scenography, and visual creation, offering a global and accessible experience to the public.
The AMAC 2026 lineup will feature designers such as Maison Mesa and José Perea, along with other emerging talents. In the musical sphere, prominent figures include José Mercé and José del Tomate, accompanied by other artists and dance studios. The event will also include a party in the bullring's corrals with DJs and a gastronomic area.
