The 2026 edition of the Almería Half Marathon was characterized by persistent rain throughout much of the course, adding an epic dimension to the competition. Despite the challenging weather, the athletic spirit and positive atmosphere prevailed among the participants.
In the main 21-kilometer race, the winners were Zakaria Lahsaini in the men's category and Yesica Castany in the women's. Both demonstrated great endurance and determination to overcome the difficult circuit conditions.
Concurrently, the 10-kilometer Saludable race also crowned its champions. Kit Edwards secured victory in the men's category, while Águeda Salas was the fastest among the women. The massive turnout filled key locations such as the Palacio Mediterráneo and Alcalde Santiago Martínez Cabrejas street, highlighting the event's success.
