This initiative seeks to showcase the destination's diverse resources, including its rich heritage, culture, and gastronomy. Institutional representatives, including the Deputy for Tourism, and the Councillors for Tourism and Commerce of the Almería City Council, welcomed the team of journalists and accompanied them on a visit to the city's Central Market.

During the visit to the Central Market, the journalists were able to appreciate the building's centuries-old architecture and the local product offerings, which are representative elements of Almería's heritage and gastronomy. The Councillor for Tourism, Communications, and City Promotion, highlighted the opportunity for international media to discover the city's magnificent products and architectural history.
The itinerary designed for the professionals includes various enclaves of the province, showcasing its territorial, heritage, and landscape diversity. Among the locations visited are the Alcazaba de Almería, the Cable Inglés area, the Tabernas Desert, the Geode of Pulpí, and the Calar Alto Astronomical Observatory, as well as several municipalities in eastern Almería.
The program also incorporates visits to cultural and audiovisual spaces, along with gastronomic experiences, with the aim of generating audiovisual content for dissemination on Chinese digital platforms. This material will be broadcast on Turespaña's WeChat Channel in China before April 30, 2026, seeking a significant impact on the Asian audience.
