This marks the fourth football the Almería team will use this season. Initially, a white ball was used until matchday twelve, followed by a yellow one that has been predominant. Additionally, on matchday thirty-one, a special design was introduced to support the fight against racism.
Matchday 35 of LaLiga Hypermotion has been designated as "retro," meaning clubs and referees will take to the field in kits inspired by past eras. The ball joins this theme, paying tribute to the aesthetics of footballs that characterized the late 1990s.
Despite its vintage appearance, the ball retains all the technical characteristics of the official Puma model used this season. Its structure of 12 large, seamlessly sealed panels is designed to optimize aerodynamics and ensure stable and precise flight. This technology guarantees a reliable trajectory for powerful shots as well as high-precision controls and passes during play.
Following this special matchday, the team will revert to using the yellow ball until the end of the current campaign.
