The operation, named ALXARAF-CITRU, was launched after a complaint was filed by the affected company. Investigators detected the presence of several people inside the property, who had gained access by forcing the perimeter fence.
A joint operation, involving the ROCA Team from the Sanlúcar la Mayor Company and rural guard personnel, was deployed in the area. During the intervention, agents caught the three suspects at the agricultural site, prepared to take the fruit using sacks, 'macacos' (bags), and pruning shears.
Authorities have concluded the proceedings by placing the three detainees at the disposal of the judiciary, accused of an alleged crime of theft from an agricultural farm. Furthermore, the Civil Guard successfully recovered all the stolen merchandise and returned it to its rightful owner.
The armed institute highlighted the work of its ROCA Teams, which maintain constant surveillance on agricultural and livestock farms. This action underscores the importance of coordination with rural guards and farm owners to prevent such crimes.
