The majority of the seismic events have been of low magnitude and went unnoticed, but two of them were slightly perceived by the inhabitants of the area.
The earthquake with the highest magnitude occurred in Ogíjares at 05:44 AM, reaching a magnitude of 2.4. Previously, at 04:05 AM, another tremor of magnitude 2.2 with its epicenter in Armilla was recorded. According to data from the National Geographic Institute (IGN), these were the only ones that the population could feel.
In addition to these two events, the IGN has recorded other tremors of lesser intensity in various towns within the metropolitan belt. Earthquakes of 1.9 in Alhendín, 1.8 in Churriana de la Vega, 1.7 in La Zubia, and 1.6 in Gójar were registered.
