The Andalusian Palliative Care Network (RedPAL) will hold its 4th Meeting on November 24th in Granada, bringing together experts and citizens to advance knowledge and improve end-of-life care.

The meeting, organized by the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Health, and Emergencies with support from the Andalusian School of Public Health (EASP), aims to promote research in palliative care under the theme ‘Research in palliative care and end of life’. The goal is to generate scientific evidence to offer higher quality care to patients and families, and to provide new tools to professional teams.
The program will combine expert presentations with practical workshops on research methodology, bioethics, artificial intelligence applied to evidence search, qualitative research, economic evaluation, scientific publication, and community participation. Innovative experiences and projects from across the country will also be presented.
A key objective is to encourage the integration of research into daily clinical practice, fostering collaboration networks and the exchange of experiences. The workshops will be educational in nature to facilitate this integration.
The deadline for submitting scientific communications is open until October 4th, offering an opportunity to share projects and studies. Selected works will be part of the scientific program. Registration to attend the meeting is open until October 25th; participation is free but with limited places, prioritizing those registered with RedPAL and professionals from the Public Health System of Andalusia.
The event is aimed at healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, students, association members, interested citizens, and palliative care professionals from other autonomous communities. All information is available on the RedPAL website.
With this fourth meeting, RedPAL continues to consolidate itself as a reference space for promoting research, knowledge, and collaboration in care for individuals facing the end of life.
