The day begins at the Federico García Lorca Theater in Fuente Vaqueros with the colloquium 'Por las ramas del laurel y del arte' (On the Branches of Laurel and Art). This event will bring together prominent figures from the Spanish cultural scene such as Ana Perea Montes, Ceres Machado, Eva Yerbabuena, Fernando Tejero, Gorka García Herrera, and Jorge de Juan.
In the afternoon, the event moves to the emblematic Cortijo Daimuz in Pinos Puente, under the title 'Daimuz: the land of wonder'. The evening will feature the participation of Fernando Tejero and Jorge de Juan, a tribute to José Pérez Rodríguez 'Pepe del Amor', the recital 'Canciones de infancia' (Children's Songs) performed by Alba Carmona and guitarist Jesús Guerrero, and a special appearance by Ana Belén with the conference-recital 'Las nanas infantiles de Federico García Lorca' (Federico García Lorca's Children's Lullabies).
The words of Federico will once again resonate within the Cortijo Daimuz, the place where the "first artistic wonder" that moved the future poet occurred, and will do so for the first time since his death.
The initiative prioritizes preserving the Lorquian environment and allowing residents of La Vega to reconnect with spaces linked to Lorca, fostering a close, respectful cultural experience connected to the territory. The great reception of both events has led to tickets being already sold out.
To facilitate access to the cortijo, a special shuttle service has been arranged from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM from Calle María Lejárraga, next to Mariana Pineda Park in Valderrubio, with return trips from the Cortijo between 9:00 PM and 11:30 PM.
The initiative is supported by Caja Rural Granada, APDI Group, and various regional institutions, as part of the CCFG's commitment to Granada 2031.
