This initiative responds to residents' requests and aims to optimize crime prevention, intensify surveillance, and support the operations of the Local Police. Mayor Fátima Gómez emphasized that these systems will allow for greater control in various areas, promoting a stronger sense of security among residents.
Complementing the technology, the Local Police force has been expanded with the addition of three new officers. Furthermore, a new police vehicle has been acquired to improve response capabilities and patrolling within the town.
Enhanced surveillance will be maintained in the industrial estate, an area that suffers from continuous illegal dumping. The council allocates nearly 100,000 euros annually for the removal of debris and waste abandoned in this zone, calling for citizen responsibility.
The City Council reminds the public that abandoning waste or carrying out illegal dumping is strictly prohibited, requesting citizens' collaboration to keep Alfacar clean.
