The acquisition of this representation was commissioned last year with the aim of integrating it into the tradition and festivities associated with the San Vicente neighborhood. The intention is that, in future editions, the image can be processed to this neighborhood during its festival, thereby strengthening the link between the popular celebration and the figure of the saint.
Upon its reception, the sculpture will be transferred to the parish church, where it will be available for veneration by the faithful.
The total investment for this commission amounted to approximately 4,200 euros. It has been reported that the sculpture was created by artist Jesús Chifarri, who is also the creator of the Santo Entierro image incorporated this year.
