The Plenary Hall of the Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo City Council hosted the official presentation of the poster and program for the Fair in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary. The festivities will run from October 7 to 12, 2026.
Present at the event were the mayor, Mariví Paterna; the Councilor for Festivities, María Jesús Carreto; councilors Matías Moguel and Teresa Molina; and the senior brother of the Confraternity of Our Lady of the Rosary, Juan Pérez.
This year's program includes religious, musical, cultural, equestrian, and leisure activities, consolidating the fair as one of the most important events in the municipal festive calendar.
Wednesday, October 7, will begin with a solemn Mass at the Parish Church “El Salvador y San Luis Beltrán” at 11:00 AM, followed by a procession. In the afternoon, there will be a matinee with the duo BOLERO, an animation parade with the band “Esto no tiene na”, the lighting ceremony at 8:00 PM, and concerts by ROCKOPOP and Orquesta ROMA.
Thursday, October 8, will be Children's Day, featuring a horse parade, a BOLERO matinee, reduced prices on attractions, and performances by Orquesta ROMA and PLANETA 80.
Friday, October 9, will include a horse parade, a BOLERO matinee, the play “Un cura en apuros” by Teatro ESLAVA, and performances by Orquesta ROMA and ZONA COVER.
Saturday, October 10, features a horse parade, a BOLERO matinee, an equestrian show, the play “PANORAMA DESDE EL PUENTE”, and concerts by Orquesta ROMA and LONG PLAY.
Sunday, October 11, will offer a horse parade, a BOLERO matinee, the play “Casado de día, soltero de noche” by Teatro ESLAVA, and performances by Orquesta VIBRACIONES and MOLIERE SHOW.
Monday, October 12, will conclude the fair with a horse parade, awards ceremony for the horsemen, a BOLERO matinee, performances by Orquesta VIBRACIONES, and a fireworks display.
The City Council has implemented a sensitization measure for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and sensory sensitivity. Daily, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, music and attraction volumes will be reduced to make the fair more inclusive.
