The Department of Social Welfare of the Belmez City Council has announced the opening of the application period for technical and functional aids for individuals who are dependent or have disabilities. This initiative, promoted by the Provincial Council of Córdoba, seeks to enhance the autonomy and quality of life for beneficiaries.
The deadline for submitting applications is from July 24 to August 23, 2026. Beneficiaries can receive up to 2,000 euros to acquire various support products. These include wheelchairs, adjustable beds, anti-bedsore cushions, bath grab bars, riser seats, adapted tableware, and oncological wigs, among other items that facilitate daily living and remaining in one's usual environment.
The call is aimed at individuals with a recognized dependency status, those who can prove a disability of 33% or higher, and cancer patients or those undergoing therapeutic processes after an oncological diagnosis. The initiative also includes measures to support the work of caregivers.
The city council encourages citizens who meet the requirements to seek information and submit their applications at the Office of the Department of Social Welfare, where they will receive municipal advice.
The Belmez City Council reaffirms its commitment to the well-being and inclusion of the most vulnerable groups, facilitating access to resources that promote personal autonomy and social participation.
