A woman sustained serious injuries in the Granada town of Lecrín this Friday, after falling through an attic opening in a house located on Calle Santísima Trinidad in Chite. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM.
According to information provided by the 112 emergency service, the woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was working as a real estate agent showing the house to potential buyers when, for reasons yet unknown, she fell from an approximate height of two meters.
The coordinating center activated the 061 Health Emergency Center, the Guardia Civil, and the Firefighters.
A medical helicopter was dispatched to the accident site. The injured woman was airlifted to the 112 helipad, from where she was transported by ambulance to the Hospital de Neurotraumatología del Virgen de las Nieves.
The 112 service has informed the Labor Inspectorate and the Center for Occupational Risk Prevention about the incident for further investigation into the circumstances.
