The technical report underscores the uniqueness of its Baroque architecture, the significance of its archaeological sites, and the importance of water as a tourist resource. It also highlights the town's urban layout, characterized by its stately homes and historic corners.
The nomination coincides with the recent launch of various initiatives, such as the new Tourism Office, the reopening of the Castle, and the creation of the Picudo Olive Oil Museum, as well as improvements in digital signage for local temples.
The final decision will be announced this Thursday, September 24, during the official gala to be held in Huelva, where the winners of each category will be revealed.
