The union has urged the local government to bring the 2.5% salary increase for 2025 and the 2% increase for 2026 to the collective bargaining table. According to CSIF, these raises, stemming from the agreement signed with the central government in November 2025, require a payment schedule agreed upon with employee representatives.
Meanwhile, the Priego de Córdoba City Council has stated that the file for updating salaries is currently being processed. The local administration points out that Royal Decree-Law 14/2025 allows for the distribution of payments and arrears corresponding to 2025 across the years 2026, 2027, and 2028.
Regarding working hours, the council asserts that municipal staff already effectively work a 35-hour week, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, the government team maintains that any formal change to the Collective Agreement must be addressed exclusively through established negotiation channels.
