The competition invites participants to photograph quince, other native fruit trees, and elements of the agricultural heritage of the region's orchards. Four monetary prizes are offered, with the participation deadline set for October 1, 2026.
The main theme is «Quince and other native fruit trees of the Subbética orchards». Entries may also depict water tanks, irrigation channels, tools, and other elements related to the orchards and the area's agricultural legacy.
The contest is open to individuals over 18 years old, both amateurs and professionals. Each participant can submit up to three original and unpublished photographs, taken with a digital camera or mobile phone. The use of artificial intelligence, photomontages, or significant alterations to the original image is not permitted.
Four prizes will be awarded: 300 euros for the first place, 200 euros for the second, 100 euros for the third, and a Special Prize «Woman and Quince» of 150 euros, recognizing photographs that highlight the role of women in rural areas.

The jury's decision will be announced in the Assembly Hall of the Multi-purpose Building, as part of the Membrillo Festival 2026 program. All submitted photographs will be projected during the event, and awards will be presented.
