The program will kick off on Friday, September 4th, with a session on “PAC Aid and how to justify aid for storm damage”, delivered by technical staff from ASAJA. Subsequently, “Solutions for hiring agricultural workers” will be addressed by Rafael Castro, technical director of API Alcalá-Sierra Frailes.
On Saturday, September 5th, Juan José Luque Rosales, an agricultural technical engineer, will offer the talk “How to improve the profitability of your plot”, providing recommendations for optimizing olive groves. Following this, Belinda Carrillo Lizana, a veterinary graduate, will discuss “How to improve your small ruminant farm. Importance of reproductive control”.
The conferences will conclude on Sunday, September 6th, with a session titled “Protagonism of women in the rural world: a sure success”. Aspects such as the support of the agricultural administration to incentivize female activity, the efficient management of an oil mill, and the keys to current livestock management will be discussed.
This final session will feature interventions from Carmen Fontacaba, director of the OCA of Alcalá la Real; Purificación Pérez Ortega, president of the Sierra de San Pedro de La Rábita Cooperative; Gloria Ruano, board member of ASAJA Alcalá la Real; Mª del Rosario Anguita, farmer; and Raquel Guadix, lawyer and member of the governing council of the San Francisco de Asís Cooperative.
Alcalá Muestra will feature 66 exhibitors spread across 16,000 square meters, with the presence of companies and professionals linked to agriculture, olive groves, food, and agricultural machinery, among other sectors. The venue will be open on September 4th, 5th, and 6th from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
