Mandatory safety requirements are established, such as the need for a protective railing on vehicles carrying people. Drivers must have their vehicle documentation in order, and the consumption of alcoholic beverages before and during the route is expressly prohibited.
The decoration of the carts is of free choice but must relate to the pilgrimage theme. Regarding music, only sevillanas, rumbas, and fairground music will be permitted, with electronic music being forbidden. Lighting must be exclusively electric, prohibiting the use of candles, gas, oil, flamethrowers, or pyrotechnics.
The cart leader will be responsible for compliance with these regulations. The Department of Festivities, in collaboration with the Security Forces, reserves the right to exclude any vehicle from the route that does not meet the required standards.
