The Municipal Caseta in La Carolina is preparing to host one of the most anticipated solidarity events of the year. On June 6th, starting at 12:00 PM, the VI "Tortilla de Patatas por Álvaro" Gastronomic Contest will take place, an event that combines gastronomy, community gathering, and social commitment in support of the association Asetitina Tus Galletas, Mis Pasos.
The main objective of this day is to raise funds to improve the quality of life for Álvaro and other individuals affected by Titina congenital myopathy, a rare disease for which there is no specific treatment. The association actively works to promote research and facilitate access to essential therapies and adaptations for patients.
The organization invites the community to participate, either by competing with their best potato omelet or by enjoying the various activities planned for all ages. Registrations for the contest are open via phone at 656 813 708 and 684 305 358.
The program will include food and drink service at popular prices, children's entertainment, various performances, raffles, and an afternoon party with a DJ. The initiative relies on the efforts of volunteers, collaborators, and local businesses aiming to make a difference through unity.

A grand raffle with dozens of gifts and prize bundles donated by companies and businesses from La Carolina and the surrounding region, such as Nuevas Galerías, Óptica La Carolina, Decoflor, and Pastelería Gloria, among others, will add further appeal to the day.
As a new feature, the celebration will continue with an afternoon party featuring a DJ starting at 4:30 PM. Additionally, a trip to the Puy du Fou España theme park in Toledo will be raffled among all purchases made during the afternoon, offering a chance to support a good cause while aiming for an unforgettable prize.
