The «Huarte» sports hall in Linares will be the epicenter of this feat, hosting the promotion phase to the national elite. The local first team has the firm objective of regaining its place in the Superdivisión Masculina, lost last season. In parallel, the First Division team will compete in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid) for a spot in the División de Honor.
Achieving all three promotions depends on a combination of on-court successes and regulatory rules. The first team currently competes in the División de Honor and aims for direct access to the Superdivisión. If this promotion is successful, the First Division team can ascend to the División de Honor, as regulations prevent two teams from the same club in that category. Should both objectives be met, the third promotion to Primera División would be automatically validated for the Segunda División team, which already won its group.
The competition at the Huarte Pavilion will bring together six delegations: Fuencarral (Madrid), Sant Jordi (Balearic Islands), Oroso (Galicia), Vic (Catalonia), Alcalá la Real, and Tecnigen Linares itself. Four teams will play a preliminary round on Saturday morning, while the other two will advance directly to the semifinals. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday afternoon, with the final taking place on Sunday morning.
In Madrid, the First Division players will face seventeen rivals for one of the nine available promotion spots. A key first-round match will take place on Saturday; a victory would grant direct promotion, while a loss would offer a final chance in the repechage on Sunday. The confirmed squads are: for the first team, Israel Rodríguez, Carlos Caballero, Piotr Chodorski, Liu Ziming, and Hugo Urquízar; for the second team, Esteban Rodríguez, Ferrán Paredes, Alejandro Molina, Ángel Rodríguez, and Wasaphon Yatawanon.
The club has called upon fans to transform the «Huarte de San Juan» Pavilion into a hub of institutional and civil support for this weekend of grand aspirations.
