The visit is part of a series of institutional meetings the highest representative of the Andalusian administration in the province is holding with local authorities. Mayor Camacho thanked the Delegate for his presence and support as an intermediary to make the needs of Bailén's citizens a reality, highlighting the investments received thanks to the management of President Juanma Moreno.
Erik Domínguez reiterated the Andalusian Government's commitment to financing and collaborating on strategic projects for Bailén. Since 2019, the Junta has invested over 40 million euros in long-standing initiatives. For example, 3.8 million euros were allocated to health matters, including the renovation of the old health center and the 061 base.
In education, 3.3 million euros have been invested for the new sports court at IES Hermanos Medina Rivilla and bioclimatization works at CEIP Nuestra Señora de Zocueca. The commitment to employment has materialized through 6 employment plans and 2 training workshops, generating 185 contracts and training 60 students with an investment of 3.6 million euros, particularly following the construction crisis.
The Junta has also invested 263,000 euros in the renovation of the Active Participation Center for the elderly and 600,000 euros in the Burguillos natural area for the Nature Classroom. Additionally, 1 million euros were allocated to the energy rehabilitation of 50 public rental housing units on 28 de Febrero street.
