The project, funded by the Diputación de Jaén with a budget of 80,000 euros, has allowed for the remodeling of the facility's main pool basin. The works were carried out under the Special Investment Plan for Culture and Sports, aimed at renovating public facilities across various municipalities in the province.
Key technical improvements include the optimization of the filtration system and the sealing of the basin, which will reduce the volume of water required. According to technical data, these interventions will result in a 25 percent energy saving compared to consumption levels prior to the renovation.
In addition to efficiency, the project has prioritized the removal of architectural barriers. The adaptation was carried out in accordance with Decree 293/2009, which regulates accessibility standards for infrastructure and buildings in Andalusia, ensuring more inclusive use of this sports facility.
