Seven years after its last edition, the sound of classic engines will once again be heard in Alozaina. The rally, driven by the Lima brothers and their friend Juan 'El Nene', aims not only to revive an event cherished by enthusiasts but also to support the Casa Ronald McDonald Foundation of Malaga.
The day will begin at 9:30 AM with a breakfast for participants, followed by a route to Yunquera, where a talk on tourism in the Sierra de las Nieves will be offered. Afterwards, the convoy will return to the hamlet of Jorox for a meal at the legendary Venta Rivita. The event will also feature other activities and conclude with a prize raffle.
For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, a 'zero registration' option has been set up for donations. The initiative has a personal background: one of the organizers, Francisco, whose family received support from Casa Ronald McDonald after the premature birth of his twins, seeks to express gratitude for the help received.
The Casa Ronald McDonald of Malaga provides accommodation for families with hospitalized children, allowing them to stay close to them during critical times. The experience of Francisco and his wife Alba has been crucial in reviving this event, which combines a passion for engines with solidarity.
The full proceeds from the rally will be dedicated to supporting the foundation's work. Those interested in participating can register via the provided link.
