The initiative, managed through the Sports Service, has included various disciplines such as chess, padel, basketball, athletics, archery, judo, orienteering, and mountain running. These activities have taken place during both school and extracurricular hours, reaching primary and secondary students in multiple towns across the region.
The program with the highest participation was Las Ajemates, focused on teaching chess to promote reasoning and calculation, which involved 1,384 students from municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants. Additionally, disciplines such as athletics and archery were supported by organizations like the Curtius Athletics Club and the Asirio Archery Club.
The sports offering was distributed throughout the province. While basketball workshops were concentrated in Aracena and Trigueros, padel sessions were held in municipalities including Zalamea la Real, Paymogo, Cala, Encinasola, Beas, Alájar, Cortegana, and Galaroza. Furthermore, mountain running and orienteering sessions completed a program designed to promote health, equality, and diversity awareness among children aged 7 to 18.
