The devotion to Alejandro Sanz leads his most ardent fans to undertake extreme experiences. One example is the group known as "Los lugares de Sanz," who arrived at the La Cartuja venue on May 24th, twelve days before the concert scheduled for June 6th, with the aim of securing the best views of the artist.
These followers, who already have "front stage" tickets, describe their wait as just "another experience" in their journey as a fan club. Their days are filled with communal living, taking turns to hold their spot, and shared friendship, all centered around their musical idol. "We have normal lives: we pick up our children from school, we go to work, and we manage to pay for a house. But instead of sitting on the sofa, we come here," explains one of the group members.
Their admiration for the singer dates back to their teenage years, when they fell in love with both his "romantic songs" and his "approachable" personality with his fans. They have attended almost all of the artist's concerts in Spain and every single one held in Seville. Their dedication is so profound that some have tattooed references to his music, such as "Verano 2023" (referencing his last performance in the city), his signature, or song lyrics.
During the concert, the singer throws them kisses, winks, and recognizes them, which they consider a reward.
The fourteen-day wait is considered a minor sacrifice, as they affirm that direct interaction with Alejandro Sanz during the show, such as receiving kisses, winks, or being recognized, is the greatest reward. This bond is further strengthened by the artist himself, who has shared videos of them queuing on his Instagram stories, demonstrating the special connection he maintains with his most loyal fanbase.
