The Albatros Circuit is holding its second event of the season this weekend in Seville, with over a hundred golfers participating to qualify for the grand final.

The Club Zaudín Golf in Seville will be the venue this Saturday, May 9, for the second stop of the Albatros Circuit, a benchmark in Andalusian amateur golf. This event, following the season's start in Vícar (Almería), maintains the competitive pulse and interest of enthusiasts.
More than a hundred golfers will gather in the Sevillian capital to compete for the four available spots in the circuit's grand final. This final is scheduled for November 1 in Roquetas de Mar, specifically at the Playa Serena course.
The tournament, which consolidates its position in the regional calendar, stands out for its structure that integrates sports competition with tourism promotion and social values. The circuit, in its sixth edition, features an ambassador who returns for the second consecutive year and attracts various personalities from the sports and media fields, thereby increasing its visibility.
Beyond the competitive aspect, the event promotes sustainability, equality, inclusion, and respect, linking sports with the enhancement of the natural environment and tourism. The Albatros Circuit is distinguished by its territorial scope, being the only one that covers all eight Andalusian provinces, with the aim of promoting the community as a leading sports and gastronomic destination.
This year, the circuit expands its reach with events outside Andalusia, including an international stop in Portugal and events in Madrid and the Region of Murcia. The competition is divided into four categories—Scratch, First, Second, and Ladies—ensuring the participation of golfers of different skill levels, and highlights the growing female presence, which already constitutes 40% of the organization.
After the event in Seville, the circuit will continue its journey through various locations such as Roquetas de Mar, Córdoba, Huelva, Motril, Jerez, or Marbella, culminating in the November final. The previous edition exceeded 1,500 participants, a figure expected to be matched or surpassed this year, with over a thousand players passing through the different courses. Institutional and business support is crucial for this project that combines sports, territorial promotion, and economic revitalization.
