Servinform, a Seville-based firm specializing in consulting, BPO, and customer service, faces the non-renewal of a significant contract with Endesa. This situation creates uncertainty for over half a thousand workers, with around 600 reportedly assigned to this contract. Servinform's total workforce in Spain stands at 4,106 employees, with 1,440 located in Mairena del Aljarafe.
The contract, set to conclude on July 1, 2026, has been awarded to Indra BPO (acquired by Teknei), Atech BPO (part of Ayesa Digital, acquired by a consortium led by Teknei), and NTT Data. The company has informed its employees about the situation and is exploring initiatives to mitigate the impact.
Union sources from UGT Sevilla estimate that approximately 600 employees are affected by the loss of this contract. The majority of Servinform's 1,440 employees in Seville work at its headquarters in the Pisa industrial estate in Mairena del Aljarafe. The state collective agreement for consulting, information technology, and market research, which covers these employees, does not mandate staff subrogation when a contract is awarded to another company.
The company has informed the works council that it will work on the transition process and will promote "all initiatives that can contribute to minimizing the impact," including seeking new business opportunities and analyzing potential continuity and relocation alternatives. Servinform recently strengthened its mortgage management business with the acquisition of PONS Consultores.
Servinform, founded in 1977 by the Rufo family, reported a business volume of 149.2 million euros in 2024. The company has undergone recent changes, including the entry of AS Equity Partners as the majority shareholder in April 2025. The company aims for international expansion and has established subsidiaries in several countries.
