The traveling educational bus, aimed at promoting healthy eating habits and providing information on Andalusian agricultural production, visited 178 schools and conducted 793 workshops. Of the more than 26,100 participants, over 18,400 were primary school students (1st to 6th grade), while nearly 7,700 were the general public during open house days.
The initiative, part of the School Program for the Consumption of Fruits, Vegetables, and Milk, involved collaboration from the Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development; Health, Presidency and Emergencies; and Educational Development and Vocational Training. The provinces of Málaga and Sevilla recorded the highest number of stops, with 25 and 30 municipalities respectively, followed by Córdoba with 26 towns.
Through games such as 'Frutimercado' (Fruit Market), 'Fruticalendario' (Fruit Calendar), 'La cocina de los secretos' (The Kitchen of Secrets), 'Frigoráculo' (Fridge-acle), and 'El Plato que todo lo sabe' (The All-Knowing Plate), participants learn about the benefits of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products, as well as the importance of including Andalusian produce in their diets.
An outdoor activity, the 'Esto es la leche' (This is Milk) race, encourages physical exercise and dairy consumption. The regional government allocated nearly 300,000 euros for this activity in the 2025-2026 academic year, co-financed by the Junta de Andalucía and the European Union through the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF).
