The Jerez Table Tennis Club celebrates the successes of its youth academy. The Jerez ChemaTM Promesas team has finished in a commendable third position in the Provincial League, a competition that this year debuted in a team format in the province of Cádiz and has been well-received.
This Jerez team has been characterized by being the youngest in the entire league, displaying remarkable personality and a high competitive level throughout the season. The formation, consisting of Eidan Santacruz, Álvaro García, Sergio García, and Hugo de la Flor, has delivered an outstanding performance, confirming the vitality of the club's youth system and the promising future of table tennis in Jerez.
Concurrently, the club is focusing its attention this weekend on Baeza, where several of its young talents will compete in the prestigious Top de Andalucía events in their respective categories.
In the U-11 (benjamín) category, Alejandro Galán and Arael Castro will represent Jerez. In the U-13 (alevín) category, the player from Córdoba, Darío Carrillo, will compete representing the Jerez team. The U-15 (infantil) category will feature two strong prospects, Javier Galán Jr and Shen Wu, both with the potential to perform well against some of the best Andalusian players of the moment.
In the women's competition, sisters Dunia García and Sofía García will face a demanding challenge with the hope of reaching podium positions, underscoring the excellent moment of the club's female youth academy.
