The XXIV Seville Flamenco Biennial, recognized as the world's most important flamenco festival, will feature the participation of three talents from the province of Cordoba. The productions include a dramatized show paying tribute to Antonio Fernández Díaz 'Fosforito', a new creation by dancer Olga Pericet, and a scenic proposal by Estévez/Paños y Compañía.
One of the Cordoban events will take place even before the festival's official opening. On September 6, the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions in Seville will host 'Nazareno y Olivares'. This scenic production, by singer David Pino, will explore the life and work of Antonio Fernández Díaz 'Fosforito', considered an essential figure in contemporary flamenco.
The performance will use word, music, and dance to honor the artist, bringing together Enrique Garcés, Bernardo Miranda, Alejandro Hurtado, and Yolanda Osuna on stage. The show will begin at 9:30 PM, with free admission until full capacity.
