Global firm Colliers has closed the acquisition of Ayesa Ingeniería for 600 million euros, completing the spin-off of the Seville-based group and its integration into an international network.

Colliers has formalized the purchase of Ayesa Ingeniería for 600 million euros, thus finalizing the agreement announced months ago and the two-part divestment of the Seville-origin group. This operation marks the exit of the fund AMCE and the founding family from the company.
The sale of the engineering division, along with the prior sale of the digital business for 480 million euros, brings the group's total valuation to over 1 billion euros. This process signifies the end of a business era that began in 1966 and opens a new chapter under external investor control, with a complete change in shareholding structure.
Ayesa Ingeniería, now under the Colliers umbrella, will maintain its operational headquarters in Seville, reinforcing its contribution to the local economy and skilled employment. The Canadian company, with a presence in 23 countries and nearly 11,000 professionals, integrates the Seville-based engineering firm as a key platform in its international network for infrastructure design and project management.
The operation was carried out in two phases: the first, the sale of the digital area to a Basque consortium for 480 million euros, formalized at the end of March 2026; and the second, the acquisition of the engineering firm by Colliers for 600 million euros. The complete exit of AMCE (67%) and the Manzanares family (33%) redefines the firm's ownership.
Jay Hennick, CEO of Colliers, described the acquisition as strategic, highlighting the enhancement of the global scale and resilience of the engineering business. The company anticipates a phase of expansion, both organically and through further acquisitions, leveraging its partnership model and the expertise of its management team, of which over 700 professionals are partners.
Rosalío Alonso assumes the role of CEO of Ayesa Ingeniería, tasked with leading growth within Colliers' international platform, capitalizing on its presence in markets such as the United States, Canada, and Australia.
