The Andalusian Center of Contemporary Art (CAAC) and the Center for Contemporary Creation of Andalusia (C3A) in Seville will host a free summer cinema series, curated by the Seville European Film Festival (SeFF).
During the summer holidays, the CAAC and C3A will screen six feature films by contemporary international filmmakers. Screenings will take place on Wednesdays at the CAAC, from June 3 to July 8, 2026, and on Thursdays at the C3A, from July 16 to August 20, 2026. All sessions will begin at 10:00 PM and admission will be free on a first-come, first-served basis.
The program includes films such as DJ Ahmet by Georgi M. Unkovski (North Macedonia); Perfect Recipe, by Louise Courvoisier (France); My Father's Shadow, by Akinola Davies (Nigeria/United Kingdom); Discontinuous Lines, by Anxos Fazáns (Spain); Sorry, Baby, by Eva Victor (United States); and Little Amélie, by Mailys Vallade (France). These productions, released between 2024 and 2025, address youth and childhood themes, exploring processes of change and personal crises.
Screenings at the CAAC will be held in the Patio del Padre Nuestro, while at the C3A they will take place in their outdoor courtyards. Both centers thus consolidate their outdoor spaces as summer cultural meeting points.

"This proposal revives the essence of a tradition deeply rooted in Andalusia: the shared experience of watching films outdoors in the summer. A custom that for generations has turned squares, courtyards, and terraces into places for gathering, conversation, and enjoying culture."

"One of the clear missions of the Seville Film Festival is to reach all parts of the city. This alliance with the Andalusian Center of Contemporary Art excites us greatly and allows us to reach the public not only during October but also during the summer months, both in Seville and Córdoba, and in two such special venues."

"The films included in the cycle address childhood and youth, sometimes with naturalistic precision and other times as an ambiguous memory or even as temporal alchemy. The audience will be able to enjoy five debut films and one second film, which, from very different contexts and starting points, speak of change and life growth."
