The municipal delegate for Contracting, Jorge Fernández, has reported that interested companies have until November 3rd to submit their bids. The plot, currently disused and in poor condition, will be transformed to offer new parking spaces, including areas for people with reduced mobility. The project also includes improvements to public lighting, sanitation, green areas, and sidewalks.
The works will involve cleaning and clearing the land, demolishing a wall on Calle Córdoba and ruined buildings within the site. This action will enhance the area's aesthetics and functionality. The total investment amounts to 681,000 euros, with an execution period of six months.
Fernández explained that criteria such as a reduction in the estimated budget or an extended warranty period will be considered. This initiative is part of the Municipal Parking Plan, which aims to create new parking zones in various neighborhoods of the city.
