The responsible councilor, Alicia López, recalled this Wednesday that the registration period remains open throughout the month of September. She encouraged participation in this initiative, which last year had over 2,000 registered individuals.
The workshops cover a wide variety of themes, including physical maintenance, embroidery, bobbin lace, zumba, cutting and sewing, ballroom dancing, memory exercises, crafts, furniture restoration, painting, drawing, Pilates, yoga, pottery, illustration, aquazumba, manga, and comics, among others.
The activities will be held in various centers in Ronda, such as the San Rafael Civic Center, the Senior Center, the El Fuerte Civic Center, the San Francisco Civic Center, the Juan Carlos I Civic Center, the Municipal School of Music and Dance (EMMD), the San Cristóbal Civic Center, the Centro Obrero, the Fuerte indoor swimming pool, and the Padre Jesús Cultural Center. They will also be offered in the districts at centers like the Cayetano Arroyo Civic Center, the Los Prados Civic Center, and centers in La Cimada, La Indiana, and Los Villalones.
Students who were enrolled until May 2026 can renew their enrollment from September 1st to 21st for workshops subject to fees and free ones such as Memory Exercises, Book Club, and Cooking Therapy.
Enrollment has been organized by days and workshops. Office hours at the Padre Jesús Cultural Center during September are Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and Mondays and Tuesdays also from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
On September 17th and 18th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, telephone appointments will be assigned for vacant places and new workshops at the numbers 673087344, 673087108, and 673087310.

Notably, the Tul Embroidery Workshop, ‘The Craft of Tul Embroidery and its Modern Applications’, was presented. It will run from October 6th to December 15th, held on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Padre Jesús Cultural Center. Places are limited to 15 participants.
This activity, supported by the Government, the Spanish Federation of Popular Universities, and the Giner de los Ríos Popular University, will include a visit to an embroidery craft workshop, a conference, and the creation of a group tul embroidery tapestry in homage to women embroiderers.
