Starting this academic year, on-site tutorials for the second year of the Early Childhood Education university degree will be offered in Ronda. These will be in addition to first-year courses and the university access routes for individuals over 25 and 45 years old.
The mayor of Ronda, Mari Paz Fernández, highlighted that this expansion represents an "opportunity for growth" and emphasized the City Council's commitment to continue expanding the UNED's offerings in the city.
The UNED center in Ronda, located at the Civic Center in the San Francisco neighborhood, will undergo improvements to its computer equipment for the new academic year.
Luis Grau, director of the UNED in Málaga, pointed out that the public university, with approximately 250,000 students in total, does not require an entry grade for its 32 university degrees. He noted the option to follow tutorials remotely and positively assessed the expansion of face-to-face classes in Ronda, thanking the municipal involvement.
For her part, the Councilor for Universities, Margarita Pavía, stressed the opportunity this expansion presents for students who have completed the vocational training degree in Early Childhood Education in Ronda, as a significant portion of their subjects will be recognized.
