The Vícar City Council, through its ERACIS+ team, has held a follow-up session with the technicians responsible for the Vícar Verde and Vícar Accesible socio-labor initiatives. The main objective was to evaluate the evolution, learning, and integration of the participants in the ERACIS+ program.
During this meeting, marking two months since the program's start, professionals conducted a technical visit to the municipal facilities where the theoretical phase of this dual training offer is being delivered. The total duration of the training will extend over one year. The visit allowed for an insight into the students' training progress, the annual calendar planning, and the modules leading to the attainment of their respective professional certificates. The session also served to gather on-site impressions from the participants and to introduce ERACIS+ to the wider student body.
The ERACIS+ team has emphasized the close collaboration and network established prior to the project's commencement. Synchronization with the coordinators of Vícar Verde and Vícar Accesible, as well as with the social entity NOESSO, crucial for activating employment opportunities, and direct communication with the SAE to address difficulties, have been highlighted.
This inter-institutional collaboration represents a significant opportunity for the future employment of Vícar's youth. Through this one-year dual training pathway, participants will obtain professional certificates aligned with real labor market needs, strengthening their key competencies and facilitating their journey towards improved personal autonomy and long-term employment.
This action, promoted by ERACIS+ Vícar, is part of the Local Social Inclusion Plan created by the Vícar City Council, participating in the Andalusian Regional Strategy for Social Cohesion and Inclusion (ERACIS+), co-financed by the European Union and the Junta de Andalucía.
